Spanning over several decades, Rikki’s career has afforded him to work in so many diverse capacities as publicist, media relations manager, social media specialist, artist management, stage production management, sales, talent booking and music programing. Major talent Rikki’ has worked with over his career include but not limited to the following, Selena, Oscar D’Leon, Brian McKnight, SWV, Havana NRG!, Grupo Niche, Tito Puente, Tito Puente Jr., Celia Cruz, Run DMC, Cypress Hill, Nia Long, Fat Joe, Notorious B.I.G., Chayanne, Luis Enrique, Stevie B., TKA and many more spanning several decades. Other notable work in the area of talent includes a major principal role in the Universal Pictures release “The Island” (circa 1980). From the early 1980’s Rikki worked marketing concepts/music programming with radio properties KNON 89.3FM, 100.3 KJMZ, K-104FM, KICK 99.1FM, KHYI-Y95 and after many years Rikki broke away from the music to focus on public relations.
Rikki’s career has allowed him to become a specialist the art of media relations, digital strategies and managing the brands of his clients via the digital space. In 2000, Rikki launched a business called Artistik! Media which focused on moving from traditional forms of media relations, publicity to immersing himself in the new digital world that was forming. In 2006 Rikki changed his company brand name and launched Creative Juice Online, Digital Brand Management company. Creative Juice Online focuses on the growing evolution of digital communications for companies in areas of social media platform, integration, amplification of their message to his vast online network in the DFW market.
Rikki was a contributing writer for Monster Nation Magazine, a global online magazine for Monster Products, Inc., the creators of the best headphones, speakers, audio cables and more. Monster Products, Inc. created the headphone for the now global Beats headphones. Rikki reports entertainment from the Dallas, Texas market to their online magazine. Rikki also is a contributing writer and handle digital strategies for Mercado Bilingue Magazine, a Dallas based online magazine.
Most recently Rikki and Creative Juice Online were featured in Los Angeles’ #1 affluent bilingual magazine, ALEGRIA MAGAZINE.Alegria Magazine is where you will find the best of the Latin American culture in the U.S from restaurants, bars and lounges to the latest designers, influencers and artists, who are changing the way we live the Latin – American experience all done in bilingual fashion. In 2005 Rikki Co-Founded Social Latino USA, a professional networking movement in the Dallas, Texas market. Social Latino USA launched in 2005 in Dallas, Texas and began as a monthly 1st Friday mixer rotating at the cities hottest and trendiest venues, from W Hotel/Ghost Bar, Joule Hotel, Crescent Club at the prestigious Crescent Hotel and many other venues and has now developed into quarterly experiences in both Dallas and now Austin (4 years). The purpose and goal of Social Latino USA is to bring together Latino professionals and non-Latinos alike in order to provide them with top-notch experiences that surround them with others for both business and a night in the city. #MixMingleMove is the official hashtag for Social Latino USA.
After 2 years from a meeting with Miriam Marsh Sifutentes, CEO of BellaGeneration Hair System, where he was informed a new organic, chemical free, all in one women’s shampoo was being created, Rikki was offered a partner/equity opportunity to head the Digital | Events part of the start up company to which he accepted. Rikki is now Vice-President/Partner of the new BellaGeneration Hair System company, based in Addison, Texas as he works in his remote office in Florida. Rikki handles day to day operations in areas of all things digital, from social media, website creative, blog, media, celebrity, influencer relations to planning and execution of events nationwide.
Rikki’s past community involvement includes time as Entertainment Chair with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Annual Gala in Dallas, Texas and Noche de Navidad/ Navidad En El Barrio, two major causes close to his heart that affect children both locally and worldwide. Most recent, Rikki is a Co-Founder of the Brighter Generation Foundation, a non profit organization that seeks to help ad serve homeless children and foster youth as well. Other past commitments include service in the United States Marines Corps Reserve.
