Join me and Voto Latino for the Hispanic Heritage Month of Action

Hello everyone! It is both an honor and privilege to have been selected for this national movement. I am joining Voto Latino and Mi Familia Vota for this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month of Action (HHMA)! HHMA is a national voter registration campaign that helps shift behaviors for American Latinos from simply celebrating our culture to building our political power. And this year, flexing our political muscles is more important than ever.

I have done work with Voto Latino in times past to get the signatures for the Cesar Chavez Day of Service, their VL Summit in Dallas and once again I am joining them for their new campaign to empower Latinos in the US to register and VOTE.

Join us and hundreds of other organization as we use September 15 – October 15 to register eligible voters and make sure our community makes it to the polls on Election Day. We can’t do this work alone and are counting on you to help us register your family and friends too. Show your support for Hispanic Heritage Month of Action by changing your Facebook profile picture using the HHMA filter here: http://bit.ly/2cIYum4. Click “Try It,” choose your photo, and then click “Use as Profile Picture

Want to make a difference in this election? Here’s how you can help:

  1. Register to vote today at HHMAction.com.
  2. Engage your networks! Visit HHMAction.com to access the digital toolkit. Then, share graphics, social media posts, and videos on your social media channels to remind your networks why it’s important to take action.
  3. Post and re-post! Help us spread the word by using the hashtag #HHMA.
  4. Download VoterPal for iOS and Android and register your friends.

Let’s celebrate the pride in our culture, by showing the power of our vote.

Thank you,
