Rikki Rincon On the Go!
Hello everyone, sorry for they eye catching lead in title, but hey, I had to get your attention right? Well, I decided to write a personal message and update on my site since I get asked every week, sometimes daily, “Rikki, what do you do?” “What projects are you working on now?” and due to the insanity of limited time I never get to fully reply in it’s entirety as it can sound a bit overwhelming to most and to others in my industry, just another day in the industry.
Well, in the much larger scope of things I am a Digital Brand Manager, I manage my clients brand online and we are not talking just “posting” or “check-ins”, no, we are talking about serious management of their brand with analytics, metrics and how to maximize their reach to their target market and others that may not be aware of their brand. I am the Founder/Creative Director of Creative Juice Online and we handle this along with media relations and public relations for many clients, both past and present, which can be found on the client buzz and testimonial page of this site. At this current moment Creative Juice Online operates over 30 social media accounts amplifying the brand, message of our international, national and local clients. Clients are FORD, Daymond John Miller Lite Live Pitch Tour, Latino Fashion Week (Dallas/Miami/LA), Global Latino Summit (LA/Dallas), QS, Ltd (London/Dallas/Austin/Houston), Hispanicize (Miami/Hollywood/Dallas), Havana NRG!, The Effinays, Oscar Gutierrez (Actor/Spare Parts), Carmen Marron (Film Director/Producer, “Go For It”, “End Game”, AEM (Hollywood) and many others. We are now in talks to creating our Miami team on the ground to service clients.
For the past several years I have been a digital strategic partner and contributing writer with Mercado Bilingue Magazine, a lifestyle magazine that caters to #Millennials and other markets in 100% bilingual fashion now going on 14 years in DFW. Creative Juice Online amplifies their weekly stories online to the masses, both consumers and other arteries nationwide thus furthering their reach. Recently I was invited to and selected as a contributing writer for a global brand magazine “Monster Nation Now”, the official magazine for Monster Products, creators and founders of the now famous Beats headphones and other wonderful monster products. I am now their “Entertainment Monster” publishing entertainment feature stories weekly and yes, online at www.monsernationnow.com, #IamMonster.
For the past 11 years I have been Managing Principle/Partner of R2 Latino Group, a public relations agency owned by Minerva Rodriguez of MRR & Associates and myself. Together we work our major client, the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau as the official Latino Public Relations Agency of Record for 10 years. We maintain all things “Latino Dallas”, from the social media, media fam tours, Latino leadership meetings along with Latinos in media circles to build and maintain the bridge of communication with Dallas! Over the past 11 years we have been part of some amazing campaigns and soon we are going to launch the LatinoDallas Blog via VisitDallas.com.
On to other matters, for the past 10 years I have been a Co-Founder/Creative Director of Social Latino USA, a professional experience event movement that I launched with Veronica Torres Hazley in Dallas as a 1st Friday mixer then on to experience events. After many successful years we then teamed up with Novert “Mo” Morales and wife, Wendy Martinez-Morales in Austin, Texas to launch the SL Austin movement and still, as I write this the movement continues to succeed at the #MixMingleMove concept and bridging the corporate sector with the professsional Latino market.
In 2015 I decided to pitch an idea to Debbie Meyers Shock, CEO and Top notch talent agent of BRAVO! Entertainment. Debbie has been booking everyone from Clint Black, Commodores, Harry Connick Jr. and over 7,500 more live acts worldwide and local and there was a missing void needing to be filled thus BRAVO! Latino was born. We have partnered up to launch the Latino music division to service the corporate, festival and all private events needs with top notch talent in all genres. Everyone from Oscar D’Leon, Jay Perez, Emilio, Havana NRG!, Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Nydia Rojas, Norma Valles, DJ Jammin Joe (Sirius XM/En Vivo 152), DJ’s LHK (Latin House Krew/DJ Spin and Ivytron), Cuban Jazz Project, John Secada, Elvis Crespo and the list goes on and on as we have created a large inventory of artists, now available direct to your events worldwide. I serve as Vice-President of BRAVO! Latino with our office is located in Addison, Texas. You can visit our site at www.bravo-latino.com. We are about to make a HUGE exclusive artist signing that is known worldwide, standby. Follow us via Facebook and Twitter.
Now, on the music label side of business, yes, in 2015 I entered a partnership deal with three other leaders in their prospective industries, Robert Gonzalez (CEO, Music Access, Inc), Christian Chavarria (CEO/Producer/Songwriter, C-Factory Productions) and Michael Gonzalez (CEO, El Creative Ad Agency), together we launched chikiPoP! A brand that will first launch as a record label targeting the youth market ages 8-15, covering Pop, Urban, Latino and more. Our site is live allowing anyone in the world to upload their video audition for possible discovery! How cool is that? We are working to release our first project by this Summer 2016. Keeping in lines with the music industry, Music Access, Inc. and our Creative Juice Online teamed up and just signed up and coming hot group, The Effinays, a five member band that have their own sound of Reggae/Funk/World music to a recording/distribution deal. More news to come and other acts to sign, standby.
On Friday, February 12th, 2016 I have been invited to speak and be amongst several men for an event called “Love Unscripted” as we are hosted by the well known Dr. Sheron Patterson speaking to a room full of women on topics of love, relatonships and more. You can get your tickets at www.drsheron.com/tickets. I think I have provided enough details for now as things are moving 7 days a week and believe me when I say this, what was not mentioned here is the next major venture that another partner and I were just given the green light on.
Just in and after working on this major music project, I was asked to assist and form a strategic team with Jorge Fernandez, CEO of Son de Cuba JF Management to work on the signing of the Buena Vista All Stars from Havana, Cuba! Over 6 original members from the Buena Vista Social Club, backed by 11 others to form a new direction of All Stars! This is such a major client that we then added more top notch professionals to the team. Enters Robert Gonzalez, CEO of Music Access, Inc. as we leveraged a recording and distribution deal with the Buena Vista All Stars and will travel in the future to record their next full length CD project with new sounds. I was also able to leverage an exclusive worldwide bookings deal with BRAVO! Latino, a division of BRAVO! Entertainment, so 100% of their bookings are finalized. The final and major factor of our team is our Publicist Janice Torres, CEO of The Brand Phoenix in New York! She is amazing and we are blessed. I mean who breaks global news and exclusively with Billboard Magazine? Gracias Janice!
On the horizon is another powerful legendary band we have our talks in motion with. As always, stand by.
